Speaking on Monday, during a meeting with Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, Zied Laadhari, the official reiterated the commitment of her institution to continue to support Tunisia for the achievement of its development.projects.
According to a statement issued by the Development Department, the meeting also focused on financial cooperation between Tunisia and the World Bank and future projects for the period 2018-2019, including those related to vital sectors (energy, water, technology, infrastructure …)
Laadhari took the opportunity to present on the evolution of the country’s economic situation and the progress of reforms aimed at boosting the pace of growth and wealth creation.
The two sides also reviewed the progress of the preparations for the organisation late June of the Major Project Investment Forum and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in close collaboration with the WB group.
The meeting was attended by Georges Ghorra, Resident Representative of International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) in Tunisia, and Resident representative of the World Bank in Tunisia, Tony Veheijen.
