The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) ended Wednesday’s trading session with a positive performance.
TASI rose by 37.2 points, or 0.43%, to finish the session at 8,687.09 points.
TASI’s turnover jumped to SAR 4.88 billion on Wednesday, compared to SAR 4.56 billion on Tuesday, while the market’s trading volume increased to 177.39 million shares from 155.95 million the session before.
Public utilities sector added 2.3%, while media and commercial services rose 2.2% and 1.2%, respectively.
Moreover, the banking and material sectors levelled up 0.8% and 0.11%, respectively.
The main index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, went down 18.55 points, or 0.5%, to finish the session at 3,566 points.
