The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session with mixed performance, pressured by the fall of leading sectors.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased by 0.56%, or 50.34 points, ending the session at 8,907.46 points.
TASI’s turnover decreased to SAR 2.58 billion on Monday, from SAR 2.71 billion on Sunday, while trading volume went down to 95.93 million shares, compared to 109.32 million shares in the previous session.
The media sector topped the decliners falling 1.85%, followed by the telecommunication and energy sectors with 1.6% and 1.55%, respectively.
Similarly, the material sector retreated by 0.8%, while the banking sector went down 0.4%.
On the other hand, the software and services sector headed the risers adding 5.1%, followed by the retailing sector with 1.5%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went up 3.2%, or 120.27 points, reaching 3,829.48 points.
