The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session with mixed performance.
By 10:45 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went down 0.59%, or 52.13 points, to 8,807.19 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 24.8 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 607.14 million through 26,160 transactions.
The banking sector topped the decliners falling 1.2%, followed by the food and beverages sector with 0.5%.
Similarly, the telecommunication sector inched down 0.19%.
Meanwhile, the consumer durables and apparel sector headed the risers adding 0.9%, while the software and services sector increased by 0.7%.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased by 0.37%, or 13.86 points, to 3,796.06 points.
