The Bureau of the House of People’s Representatives decided at its meeting Wednesday to hold a plenary session on Monday, May 21.
The session will be dedicated to oral questions to the Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies.
Plenary sessions will also be organized on May 22, 23 and 24 to review several bills, including the draft law No. 29/2018 amending certain provisions of the code of income tax of individuals and corporation tax.
Thursday’s plenary will debate the report of the Regional Development Committee on visits to the governorates of Gabes, Medenine and Tataouine.
In addition, the HPR Bureau has decided to submit a number of bills to the relevant committees.
Thus, the draft organic law relating to the amendment of the organic law No. 2015-50 of December 3, 2015, relating to the Constitutional Court will be submitted to the General Legislation Committee.
The HPR Bureau also decided to send written questions to government membes.
The Bureau was also informed of the application for membership of MP Youssef Jouini (formerly Nidaa Tounes) to the parliamentary group of the Free Patriotic Union and that of Hager Ben Sheikh Ahmed (ex-Afek Tounes) to the group “Al Walaa lil Watan” (Allegiance to the Homeland).
