
Ooredoo posts QAR 408m net profit Q4
Ooredoo Company on Monday reported a 13% increase in its net profit during the fourth quarter of 2017, registering QAR 408 million, compared to QAR 361 million in the year-ago period.
The Qatar- and Abu Dhabi-listed company’s net profit dropped 10.3% to QAR 1.967 billion in 2017 versus QAR 2.193 billion a year earlier, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share (EPS) reached QAR 6.14 on 31 December 2017 against QAR 6.84 in the year before, the company’s data showed.
Ooredoo’s board recommended the distribution of a 35% cash dividends for 2017, with a dividend per share of QAR 3.5, which equals 2016 dividends.
