Only three stocks grew on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) by 10:48 am, UAE time, on Thursday.
Methaq Takaful Insurance Company’s stock topped the ADX’s gainers, adding 6.10%, after 4.2 million shares were traded, with a turnover of AED 3.6 million.
Aldar Properties rose 1.25% to AED 2.43, with a turnover of AED 3.9 million.
Agthia Group went up 0.19% with a liquidity around AED 26.050 and 5,000 traded shares.
With regard to sectors, the real estate sector led the market by adding 0.79% followed by the insurance sector, which grew 0.19%.
The main index dropped 0.29% or 13.14 points to 4,501.85 points.
Trading volume has reached 22.89 million shares, generating AED 24.03 million through 347 transactions.
