Mercedes Benz has boosted footprint in the emirate of Dubai by opening its new world-class training centre on Wednesday in Dubai Production City, a member of TECOM group and a leading business hub for production and innovation.
Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME), which is part of the Overseas Region of Daimler located in Dubai, launched the centre in a bid to bolster the existing Middle East training offering and help ensure global service standards are maintained, according to Mercedes Benz statement late on Wednesday.
“This opening underlines Dubai’s welcoming business environment and world-class infrastructure as well as DPC’s efforts to attract global brands,” Majed Al Suwaidi, managing director of Dubai Production City and Dubai Media City, commented.
Spanning an area of 32,000 square metres, the new centre is designed to offer leading in-house training for its raft of divisions including management, sales, customer services, parts, service, as well as all technical staff.
“Through training and education programmes, we will maintain the global standards set by our colleagues across the world and offer Daimler network staff within the region the opportunity to learn best-in-class skills and techniques.” Pablo Souto, head of Training of MBCME, said.
