A delegation of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts (UTICA) led by its president Samir Majoul, met Thursday, with Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) Marouane El Abbassi.
Several issues relating to the mechanisms of fight against the fall of the dinar and providing financing lines for private companies were discussed at the meeting.
The two officials reviewed issues related to the financing of private investment, including the cost and guarantee of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises and craftsmen.
They also talked about regional development projects and the restructuring of companies facing economic difficulties, the UTICA said in a press release Thursday.
The issue of the flexibility and speed of financial transactions related to export was examined by the UTICA and BCT officials, added the same source.
