Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that some F-18 aircraft of its
forces took part in “Al-Yarmouk 3” exercise held in Egypt.
The exercise is currently held in collaboration with the Egyptian air forces. The drill included several operations of defense and mutual attacks on targets previously planned, the Ministry’s Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate said in a press statement.
It also focused on training on aerial reconnaissance of hostile targets through using the latest tactics and combat techniques, it added.
The “Al-Yarmouk 3” exercise, which also includes lectures, started on August 2 and runs until August 16. It is part of the mutual military cooperation between the two countries.
It also aims to exchange expertise and enhance mutual combat capability.
