GFH Financial Group on Monday announced the details of the market making transactions conducted by its market maker SICO in May in both Bahrain Bourse and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The total number of securities purchased on the DFM amounted to 98.53 million shares in May, while the securities sold were 22.56 million shares, the group said in a statement to the DFM and Bahrain Bourse.
Meanwhile, the total number of securities purchased on Bahrain Bourse stood at 1.44 million shares, and the securities sold amounted to 14.76 million shares, the group added.
In the DFM, total money paid stood at AED 93.34 million last month and total money received reached AED 20.86 million, the Bahrain-based Islamic wholesale investment bank said.
Moreover, the total money paid in Bahrain Bourse were $341,500 and total money received reached $3.69 million.
In February, GFH Group announced it had appointed SICO to act as a liquidity provider for its shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
