The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices ended Wednesday in a mixed note, with market capitalisation gaining around EGP 3.78 billion.
The benchmark EGX30 index grew 0.85% to 14,770 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 index slipped 0.04% to 649.27 points.
The broader EGX100 index inched up 0.05% to 1,657 points and the equally-weighted EGX50 index increased by 0.16% to 2,286 points.
Market capitalisation rose to EGP 805.61 billion from EGP 801.83 billion.
The EGX’s trading volume reached 70.83 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit EGP 464.09 million.
Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 41.11 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 597.76 million and EGP 41.71 million, respectively.
