
CI Capital Holding’s shareholders approve EGP 256m capital hike
CI Capital Holding’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved increasing the company’s capital to EGP 800 million from EGP 544.18 million.
Shareholders approved raising the company’s capital by EGP 255.8 million through issuing 255.8 million shares to be financed from the bonus reserve amounting to EGP 858.5 million as of financial statements of 2018, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.
For every share held, a 0.47 bonus share will be distributed, the statement added.
During the first half of 2019, CI Capital Holding’s net profits increased to EGP 235.24 million, compared to EGP 169.67 million in the prior-year period.
The company’s capital reaches EGP 544.184 million, distributed over 544.184 million shares at a nominal value of EGP 1 apiece.
