The Kuwaiti stock market registered a positive performance during the week ended 18 May.
The price index levelled up by 1.05% or 69.81 points to close this week at 6,725.78 points from 6,655.97 points in the previous week.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.73% and 0.92%, respectively.
The market cap increased by 0.73% or KWD 200 million ($656.5 million) to total KWD 27.69 billion ($90.9 billion) this week from KWD 27.49 billion ($90.2 billion) a week ago.
The trading liquidity grew by 12.47% to KWD 85.88 million from KWD 76.37 million in the previous week.
The traded shares increased by 26.69% to 956.13 million from 754.68 million, while transactions shrank by 1.15% to about 21,690 from nearly 21,940.
