Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, after Premier Market index inched up 0.08%, whereas All-Share Market index and the Main Market index fell 0.03%, and 0.3%, respectively.
By 9:16 am Kuwait time, the banking sector rose 0.11%, while the basic materials segment fell 1%.
Real Estate Trade Centers’ (Marakez) stock led risers with 9.5%, whereas Kuwait Real Estate’s stock was the worst performer after dipping 5.3%.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.7 million after 9.2 million shares were exchanged through 350 transactions.
The stock of Ahli United Bank (AUB) Bahrain, which rose 0.94%, was the most active in Boursa Kuwait after 2.21 million shares were exchanged, generating KWD 473,340 in liquidity.
