The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a massive decrease, in line with the fall of eight segments.
The Premier Market retreated 1.38%, while both the All-Share and Main markets fell by 1.06% and 0.38%, respectively.
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank to KWD 26.98 million on Sunday from KWD 167.27 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased to 102.63 million shares from 345.61 million.
The banking segment led eight decliners with 1.22%, while the technology and consumer goods sectors were the gainers with 3.13% and 0.45%, respectively.
Al Eid Food led the losers with 14.29%, while Mena Real Estate topped the winners with 5.79%.
Taameer was the most active stock on which 17.99 million shares were traded, the sock retreated 12.9%.
NBK posted the highest liquidity of KWD 7.65 million, the stock went down 2.41%.
