Agility Public Warehousing Company on Monday announced plans to invest around KWD 100 million ($329 million) in a digital platform over the coming three years.
Launching the platform “Shipa.com” comes along with the company’s digital transformation efforts, according to the firm’s statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The platform will help small businesses, entrepreneurs and consumers to manage their logistics business online or via mobile.
Moreover, the investment will help the dual-listed company on the DFM and Boursa Kuwait to meet the needs of underserved customers and develop digital-first e-commerce, freight and delivery businesses, the statement said.
Investments will be reflected in the company’s financial results over the coming three years.
