The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 23.43 points or 0.45% to close Wednesday’s session at 5,237.07 points.
Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Co was the top winner with a rise of 11.36%.
Furthermore, Aldar Properties went up 1.12%, and Union National Bank (UNB) added 1.11%.
The heavyweight First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) also added 0.63% to close at AED 15.92.
The ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 145.87 million after 77.89 million shares were exchanged through 1,262 transactions.
