The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has closed Thursday’s trading session slightly lower by 0.06% at 5,027.96 points, losing 2.89 points.
Trading volume amounted to 41.64 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 138.64 million through 1,457 transactions.
Market capitalisation gained AED 525 million and closed the session at AED 515.50 billion.
The banks sector went down as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) shed 0.66% and 0.78%, respectively.
Likewise, the energy sector inched down as Dana Gas slipped by 0.32%.
On the other hand, the telecommunication and the real estate sectors rose by 1.24% and 0.08%, respectively.
FAB was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 40.41 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock by volume with 8.60 million traded shares.
