Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution), a subsidiary of state-owned oil company Adnoc Group, has denied that there is any difference in the types of fuel distributed at its stations across the UAE.
ADNOC Distribution stressed that the fuel distributed in all of its stations comes from one source, Al-Ruwais Refinery or Sas Al Nakhl, Emarat Al Youm reported.
The fuel experiences several stages before reaching the distribution stations, including the approval of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, the company added.
All fuel suppliers in the country carry out such procedure, therefore it is not possible for the fuel to cause any breakdowns in car engines, whether the fuel provider was ADNOC Distribution or any other company, the company highlighted.
ADNOC Distribution also called dealers not to supply their cars with an unsuitable fuel type with the engine.
It is worth noting that complaints about the fuel quality at some distribution stations increased over the past period, which affects car engines.
Moreover, ADNOC Distribution emphasised that its fuel is 100% domestic fuel that is compatible with the highest international standards of quality, noting that the quality is being monitored through several stages of production and conformity by government parties.
